did you do the PSU fix to avoid the smell of evil ? surprised you don't like a beeb , due to the electronics side , rom slots etc. .. I'd say it's the best 8 bit for it.. maybe someone like winston would agree.

if you got the SD adapter for it, you'd find some games on it that are nice. esp. if you like defender, it's a good clone + mr. do and some more :)

I think if you know what to cherry pick ,game wise.. you'll find something nice :)

they are hard to get at a decent price (a few folk buy em to refurb or re-sell em for *4+ the value.. no prizes for guessing who) AND for true compat. you need to fit another rom to pretend it's a bbc b.. as when I first got my machine.. a fair few games were problematic.. have a model B that I do need to fix or get fixed here. only reason I got that one cheap.

I got a BBC Master off wossname from RetroClinic at Replay a couple of years ago. It's a really nice machine, it has a built-in Datacentre (CF interface), built in USB interface and a 6502 second processor that can run up to 16MHz, plus printed manuals for everything. He was selling them for ?100, which I thought was great value considering the printed manuals and built-in upgrades all ready to go.

It's so enormous, that's the trouble. My +3 can sit on my desk and not really be in the way, by the time the beeb and dual floppy unit is out though there's no room left for a mug of tea

I used to own one, it would not play 'The Hobbit', yet my BBC B and Electron did.
