Adventureland
I'm finding this game very frustrating. There doesn't seem to be any descriptions for the locations, just pictures.
I've had a quick look at the solution and there's an object on one of the screens that I wouldn't have known about by just looking at the location's picture! Is there anyway to turn on text descriptions or am I just supposed to guess at what's going on?

Genius! At least now when I get stuck, i'll know what i'm getting stuck on!
Is it a bit like a snigger?
chigger is! ahahahahah.
GIYF!
Nasty looking little buggers, aren't they? I always imagined it was some kind of monkey for some reason?
Seriously though, I find those Scott Adams / Adventure International games haven't aged well at all. I mean, kudos to him for producing one of the first commercial text adventures and all, but with their style and lack of descriptive text I find them absolutely unplayable nowadays.
This is an interesting read though (read from bottom to top). Nice afro, Mr Adams.

No chiggers, please (bites lip).

Can you describe "very atmospheric"? the plot is that you run out of fuel in the middle of no where, and you found a tent which you end up blowing it up (without any motive) and run away?
oh :) silent hill!
