They've been rolling out the new changes for a few weeks now. It seems to depend on your account when they kicked in.
The ability to see just SOLD items rather than have to search through endless unsold items is very handy actually if you're trying to work out what's worth selling, what something's really worth etc. Dead handy for both buyers and sellers.
The buy-it-now and auction option should be somewhere on the left.
I usually find eBay changes a bit of a pain in the bum as well (e.g. when you have to click on about three things just to choose a particular category when it used to be just one click) but this latest load of changes are ok... or maybe I've just got used to them? :)
yep the auction / buy-it-now removal thing has really annoyed me.. I just log in using a family members account that STILL has it, find it far easier.
they faff around with it too much, same with the catagories..e.g. long ago you could just search for sinclair computers.. with say atari 8 bit stuff it's far harder. coz everyone lists tapes as atari 8 bit!! aggh !!
wish they would stop dicking around with it. My databases get corrupt on turbo lister coz of it also.
why do they have to change it ? they still get money regardless.. if they stopped snipe tools + shrill bidders, that'd be a far better use of their time IMHO.
I must say, as I'm gearing up to attempt to sell my collection again, I had a wee look at the Spectrum game market and it seems people have upped their prices slightly. Of course, it's moot if it doesn't sell.
pretty moot, people are uncertain of their finances at this time.. was far better say 2-3 years ago.. I refuse to list certain games that others sell for peanuts (I will sell em privately, if asked) , as after fee's.. it's nothing.
there are a few sellers, who I'd like to see return, who aren't there now.it does look like the variety of items are drying up , in the sense of a few of us have loads of the same titles e.g the bug byte budget things.
I will list some titles just to keep the listing open.. as with turbo lister they will be invalid after 3-4 months.with me , postage gets cheaper.. by a LOT, the more you buy.. I'd rather sell 3-6 than just 1. People don't twig or get stung with others not so decent "combined" like the seller who charged me ?7 for 2 items that cost ?2.20 + used envelope.
