Has anyone played any of the Dragon Quest games? I've got no. 4 and 9 on DS. I'm wondering which one's best to start with?

    I've yet to play any of those, but whenever I start a new series of games I try and start with the earliest one I have access to...usually the later ones have features added, so it's best to play them in order to avoid disappointment...

    Sometimes the opposite can happen too mind you, with some better features getting removed for some reason....

    So, basically, I've no idea! :D
