What quiz based chess like game is this?
I remember this game from the Spectrum era, but actually I played it on my friends' Amstrad CPC 464. I'm sure it was on the Speccy too though, and probably the C64 as well.
The game was played on a chess board rotated 45 degrees. There were two (though may also have allowed 4) players, and each started with 3 or 4 pieces (I forget which) in the corner, and you had to move from your side of the board to the other.
And somewhere amongst the game mechanics, you had to answer trivia questions, which I think you had to do if you wanted to move a piece.
Can anyone remember this and have an idea what it might be called? :/

I was so sure it began with A for some reason.
And that has to have been one of the quickest correctly answered of these surely.
And actually I have never played that game, but its somehow a known Speccy game :)
If I remember rightly, that game had a major fault - when one player attacked the other player, then if it was a draw then the attacking player lost. This meant that there was no incentive for you to attack, it was better for you if you held back and let the other player attack you. The gameplay mechanic should have been that in the case of a draw, the attacking player won, this would encourage all players to attack instead of holding back and hoping your opponent attacked you.
