"Hacking the XBox" ebook released -
The commercially available book Hacking the XBox, by Andrew 'bunnie" Huang has been released free for download. bunnie was the bloke who broke the protection on the original XBox (not the XBox 360) and whilst neither the subject matter itself, nor the level of technicality (high!) will interest most people, it is interesting to read his views on the moral right of people to do what they like with their own property*, and how he was treated as a result of his views and actions. You can just skip over the technical chapters if you like (or pretend you understand them, and nod knowingly ).

* And, to pre-empt pedantics like karingal, the author (and me too), believes you should be allowed to do what you like with your own property provided you don't break any moral laws, so you shouldn't be allowed to hit someone over the head with your XBox because they support a different football team from you, but you should be able to hack your XBox, and/or reverse engineer it's BIOS, and/or add a new hard drive, and/or run freeware homebrew on it.
