World Wide Maze

edited April 2013 in Chit chat
I just turned the WOS homepage into a 3D maze which I rolled around collecting gems in a Bobby Bearing type manner, going up and down lifts etc.

Has anyone else had a play around with

http://chrome.com/maze/

?

It's a Chrome only thing, and just a bit of fun. You can link and use your smart phone as a controller, or bypass this option and use the cursor keys.

"Ah snap! The connection has been lost."

    Yes, am using up-to-date Chrome.

    The page says this also:
"Turn favorite website into a 3D maze. Play now with your PC and mobile phone."
But the URL says this: http://chrome.com/maze/pc/not-supported/

    What to do?

EDIT: Ah, the specs says you have to have either Vista or Win7. Oh, well.

    XP rulz, yo.

    Looks quite groovy...

Seems to be OK on XP for me.

I'm on Win7 and got the "Aw, Snap!" (which is the most irritating error message I've ever encountered in my life. If it had said "Oh f***sticks, yer browser's crashed mate" I wouldn't mind at all)

Tried to get it to work on Firefox just on the off-chance but it just sits there, I suppose it's like loading a 128k game into a 48k Speccy (or vice versa)

  • How about a nice R-Web loading error?
