    Aaaah, Frustrating games....there was no shortage of those on the Spectrum.

    Vindicator was very frustrating, walking round that light blue complex for friggin hours looking for pieces of a bomb.

    And Wasnt Dan Dare 3 virtually impossible? I remember having trouble surviving for more than ten seconds between each life....

    Dan Dare 3 wasn't impossible - I managed to complete it so it can't be! One of the very few Speccy games I've managed to complete without resorting to blatant cheating.

    I could never get the hang of Avalon (by Hewson I think), with the floaty wizard! What the hell are you supposed to do?! I could move around the rooms and things, but just NEVER made any progress...!? Does anyone know what I was doing wrong? Anyone ever got anywhere with this game? I'd love to know as I played it over and over and over and over!!

    There is a recorded walkthrough of Avalon available on the RZX archive (www.rzxarchive.co.uk). You'll need a compatible emulator to play it though.
