Great work as always Mark. Something I wondered about your recent Avalon screen and more so on this one, do the coloured graphics surrounding the main image distract the eye a bit. I definitely think they should be there but perhaps as background un-bright blue so the main coloured image of the title scroll and armulet is brought to the foreground and all other images taken into the background. I hope that makes sense. Hey, it's just a thought, who am I to judge. It's a great loading screen.

I did try that but it all looked a bit dull. If you want I can recolour it as you said and show you what it looks like. I prefered it how it is but you may like it that way. Horses for courses!

No, don't go to the trouble. If it was considered and didn't work then I would never question your judgement. It's a fine piece of spectrum art as it is.

Both are great, but the cyan one is better I think. In the original one the dark blue bits are hard to see, and they deserve to be seen!

Haha, I'd forgotten all about those slightly odd pictures on the map! I've just thought - is that thing supposed to be a rabbit? I remember there being a rabbit in the game. And a hedgehog. And a bird.

Excellent work.
I'm an artist and I'm not sure I could create such an impactful image with such a limited pallete!
It's very evocative of the era and of the sense of mystery and adventure in the game.
Damn, I loved those days!

Hi everyone. These are the new versions of "Dragontorc":

http://www.sendspace.com/file/g9nhph (tzx).
Both seem to work in my emulator, but I do not really understand what needs to be done in these games, so cannot check these versions thoroughly.
Just tell me if something seems amiss.
