Happy birthday!

Fire up one of your many retro machines and sink a few cold (or warm) ones.

    Thanks Guys
Yesterday I went for a walk around Lichfield and finished the day in the Guild Hall Ale festival.

I did intend to release my Terry Turtle JSW game on my birthday but I am still working on the music,I have switched to soundtracker and replaced the in game tune with a faint and disconcerting heart beat. I do like the built in ST title screen tune in JSWed but I have decided to have a go at making my own so it could be a while before I release the game.

Nice, sounds good. I'm a sucker for jsw clones, think I've played just about every one in the archive

I am a fan of the JSW/MM spin off`s too but with so many out there to be really different you have to be creative and try new things within the limits of the editor, for example i have blinking stars and some puzzle elements involving avoiding static hazards. One thing I am focused on is the fact that people have varying skill so some guys are Jsw experts with pixel perfect jumping but some other players enjoy to play but simply blow at platformers. So I am releasing three versions of the game at the same time indicated by colour (I guess in a similar way to the Gameboy Pokemon games),the games are Terry The Turtle Yellow-Normal,Cyan-Medium and Red-Hard so people can can choose the challenge or simply attempt them all.
Apart from the music all three games have been designed, built and over the last month play tested,it is a HUGE SPOILER but if you want to know what the games are like.....
    Spoiler:
