That program that would make colorful (psichedelic) screens by playing music through the speecy?...I can't remember...

    For a moment I thought you were referring to programs that react to sound fed through the ear port such as this one made by Woody a long time ago:



    But then I remembered you may be referring to 128K software that draws lines and patterns in different colours while playing an AY tune. Haven't seen those in a while. :)

    I vaguely remember a YS type-in that did this on the 48. Can't remember what it was called though, sorry.

    I seem to remember a program like that on one of the cover tapes, but which tape from which magazine, I can't help you with! I've got a feeling it was a Sinclair User tape and it was more than likely after the ELSPA stuff that forced them to cut down on the free games.

    Sounds like you're referring to Busysoft's Song In Lines series. (And the somewhat similar Fuxoft Soundtrack demos - I think one of those made it onto an SU covertape)
