it's more the rarity of it, if davey has it. then you know it's not so common.. I've not got that title , never seen it.. I'd like it.. sure but , pay that much.. nah
I can't say exactly.. because maybe like others I have a "goto price" and once it gets past that .. keep em.. I did the same a while back, when I went to a collection in tooting.. games stank of smoke.. copious amounts of scrabble filler and only "ok" condition.. and maybe hhmm 500-600 games.. he wanted ?200... and considering a lot were budget and no ultimate.. it was a micky take. I offered far less than half that and reminded him I was saving him the bother of going post office / ebay fee's and listing photos (yer.. I'm all heart..hehe)
I try to be fair, but it's hard for me to get games that I haven't got 3 off (that I don't want :) ) . so that impacts on stuff also.
There's some Commodore 64 games in there too. 'Psi Warrior' & 'Spy Vs Spy II' arent Spectrum releases in that pic.
I find a fair bit I will get titles for zx81 and cpc chucked in with bundles I buy..
or the one that "annoys" me , is the put in the game e.g. bmx simulator for cpc in a spectrum cover... or bmx simulator 2.. in a bmx simulator 1 cover! (it's normally more expensive titles though)
this is probably my #1 bundle from hell.. it was horrid and most of it cover wise will go in the bin once refunded.. I only bid on it for two game, which (not shown) was thankfully one was pretty nice condition.. funny I separated it from this lot when I took it to my car.
do not look at this at this if you have just eaten.. tbh
behold the wonderment of a floating cassette and the special "underwater" version of dynamite dan..
lets just say I wasn't happy, I opened a case on ebay.. do you think I will get a refund considering it's described as "good" (for nothing , more like)

My guess is that this lot had been thrown in the skip and then rescued a few days later!

nah it'd been left in a loft.. but the odd thing was , the game over 2 was near mint which is why I bid.. rest wasn't. the boxes took the damage in the main, so they are getting binned. they told me it was taken out of a relatives attic.. but who knows, thought it was more a shed.
the bundle in ealing that I wanted also had a game over 2.. I wondered if it was the same one
my fav was the one with the tape stuck to the inlay!!! I was wtf.. i had to sort thru it anyway.. between that and the QL bloke, I am getting miffed with ebayers who take the mick with their descriptions.

I always have the fear of a complaint so probably underplay stuff I sell on there and probably get less bids! I wouldn't have sold anything like the majority of that and, sadly, just binned it.

it just saves a LOT of hassle... you just have to look at it if you are the buyer, would you buy it as "described" .. in the long term , it works to your advantage as some folk will buy off you again and again (that and a nice postage discount helps ;) )
I'm pretty sure that seller steals pictures from other peoples listings, so you can't judge the condition by the picture anyway. Check other listings by that seller, and you'll see.
I read somewhere that ebay are changing the picture policy, and you can't use stock photos for non new items anymore. This is a good thing, and should stop crap like that.
There is no excuse really, everyone has a camera nowadays, don't they?

everyone has a camera.. but do i want to consistently re-take a photo for the same item I re-list, that is a different tape.. think not ;) .. besides , I ship items that are the same.. OR they get put in a b-grade bundle :)
