People who can't park straight and it's usually the people in the smallest cars who are the worst for this
We get one or two numpties round our way who, if they come across a parking space that's big enough for two cars, ALWAYS park exactly midway between the two, thus denying someone else (usually me) a space. Gits!
I did a remix of Bloc Partys Better Than Heaven once. Best remix I ever made, in my opinion. Can't upload it anywhere though, keeps getting flagged for copyright blah blah. It seems to be ok for everyone else to upload the original though, which is really annoying. I don't make any money from anything I do, it's just a hobby, and I don't host remixes anywhere for download (only my own stuff). I understand that people can download videos from Facebook and YouTube etc., but when the original is already posted all over those sites by other people (i.e. not just their official band pages), I fail to see why they won't allow my remix to be uploaded too? Really, really annoying!
Stick it on sendspace and PM me the link, I'd like to hear it anyway :)
I wonder if it's Bloc Party's record company or management being over-zealous, as the only mashup I ever had pulled from soundcloud was the one I mentioned (Flux vs Underworld's "Scribble"). I wouldn't've thought Bloc Party themselves would be against it, loads of their acapellas and remix stems are available both officially and unofficially.
It's such a grey area though, loads of my mates in the mashup/remix scene have had emails from official.fm informing them their accounts will be shut down due to copyright infringement (I've escaped the cull for some reason - probably not active enough), and I know of one mashup producer in Switzerland who was arrested, his PC taken away and fined thousands of pounds just for uploading mashups to his own website :-o
The USA and a few other countries have a "fair use" get-out clause which I think is how the likes of Girl Talk get away with it, but not the UK :(
People that insist on reverse parking, even tho it takes them close to 5 minutes (feels like 5 hours) every time they attempt to complete this tricky maneuver. Making it look like a Krypton Factor test, and bringing everything to a complete standstill whilst they edge in and out repeatedly, turning the wheel about 5mm each time.
That's defo the type of cack these emo types listen to, but that's not really screamo he doesn't really do enough screaming. That's the type of song I'd expect to Segway with something like Papa Roach or Fallout Boy on the radio here (US Radio is really awful, some stations are still playing the same tunes regularly that they were 2 years before I even moved here! Utter cack!)
gawd they were crap. them and 'Alien Ant Farm' and their pointless cover of Smooth Criminal. That got played 50 times a day on all radio stations for months

I thought the video was pretty funny the first time I saw it, 6 months later I wanted to gouge my own eyes out with a spoon and ram knitting needles into my ears.
I never liked any of that "nu-metal" stuff that was floating around in 2000 and 2001. In fact I don't think I liked any new music in 2000 and 2001.
Same goes for all those American geek-stoner-metal songs, like that "Heaven is a Half-Pipe" one about, like, hanging out and being a sk8er dude, maaaaaan. Oh just zark off.
Quite liked that Alien Ant Farm cover though. Shoot me now :-P

that song was so ****!! all these tunes are from the time I was working in an Argos warehouse and had no choice but to listen to them day in day out piped in on local radio, would've preferred silence easily

Will do. I'll PM you a Dropbox link. ;)
My YouTube account's "in good standing" though, copyright-wise, it's only that one track I've had problems with too. I think these days they let you have three appeals if your account's in good standing, so I might try uploading it again and appealing when it gets flagged. Not sure what the success rate is like with that though in the UK?

ha, similarly I was working for Sainsbury's around that time and they had local radio (Kent or Sussex FM, forget which) blasting out. All the crap songs off Radio One's playlist with adverts for local carpet emporia in between and the occasional "So it's hot today, isn't it? I bet you're having a barbecue this weekend!" from the presenters.
Actually local radio is probably right at the top of my personal Room 101 list... the crap music, the crap presenters, the crap adverts... it is the mouldy pubic hair on the malformed testicle dangling from between the legs of Beelzebub.

Not sure... I'll have to ask my mate and mashup video creator extraordinaire ThriftshopXL as I think he's been down that road before.

lol can't argue tbh...one of the worst things which I've encountered on more that one local station is attempts to have a 'wacky' breakfast show with zany co-hosts and amusing banter etc, desperately trying to be like Radio 1's breakfast show but getting it wrong on every level (not that 1FM's was ever great). cringeworthy.
Thinking of awful music videos, I just saw a few seconds of a new one where Timberlake is trying to be Michael Jackson. It starts with him having an impromptu street dance with a very young child. Oh good grief...

Well, although they haven't blocked the sound or the video, they have tagged one of mine with a 'possible copyright violation'. The music used is actually Creative Commons Non Commercial Share alike (as is the video I used it on), so it's entirely legal to use it. I clicked on the button they give you to appeal and filled in the full explanation of this, and they've not removed this tag despite having done this about a month ago.

Oh dear! Looks like I've got no hope of getting that remix up. Ho-hum...
I hate not being able to end a phone call properly. Every one turns into a succession of 'okay bye. Yeah bye, ok, yeah see you. Yep. Bye then.' For about 20 seconds. Can't be just my fault, it takes 2 to tango

Pensions - you should NEVER get out less than you put in.
Sort it out!
Bumped into him in a lift?
Is this screamo? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1mXaPgu38E

Me too! Although Bono and Chico come very close..
There's one at the end of my road advertising a car boot sale in August. Last August.

Maybe it's a car boot sale for people with Deloreans?

1. Everything.
I didn't do anything wrong! :D
Oh just get over yourself.
Anyway I think it means something like "don't have a teeny trauma".
You can't possibly be a sociopath. I'm sure you've admitted being wrong about something at least once. :)
