Hi

Does anyone have any advice on which is the best emulator for making videos of spectrum games?

I've being using original hardware for my youTube channel up to now but the quality isn't as good as I'd like. It'd be good to get something of a better quality up there.

    I would imagine they'll all be as good as each other. As long as you ensure they use the GDI option to give a crisp display rather than the more authentic blurry edges of Direct3D.

    I was after an emulator that captures the video for you. I;e tried Spin but that is a big dogy.

    For the 850+ videos I've done for the RZX Archive's YouTube channel I used Spectaculator to record the videos whilst the RZX files were being played back. It's pretty straightforward to use and gives decent results.

    I use Fraps : http://fraps.com/ that way you are not constrained to any emulator.

    I'll take a look at that and Fraps. Also Kudos to the RZX Archive's YouTube channel too it is terrific :).

    Spectaculator all the way on this as u can record them as AVI and insert them into your favorite video making tool like Camtasia (which is what i use)
