    Haven't we had one already?!

Aye, we've had the two initial ones, then one for each of the three protagonists. Then the gameplay one and the online one. I wouldn't say no to an 8th trailer :D

if this game turns out to be pants, I might just renounce video games, I was nearly crushed by the disappointment of GTA IV, I've pinned all my hopes on GTA V.

    The suspense is killing me.

Yup this is the first new full price game I'm buying on launch since Shenmue 2

If my $60 is wasted (because that's a lot of money), I'll probably never buy a new game again, there's too much disappointment with paying full price at launch, as adverse to not being too disappointed a month or 2 later for a quarter of the price.

    I'm taking a risk here I is :D

But I think I'll be OK this time!

According to some guy on Radio 5 you get points for running over nuns in this game (Grand Auto Theft V as the newsreader called it at least once?).

If bits of it are leaked people won't want to buy it because they can get pretend bragging rights.

That's cleared all that nonsense up then.

You got points for running over Hare Krishnas and Elvis Impersonators in the first couple of games, but I don't think there's actually been any point system since the games moved into 3D...so points for running over nuns seems unlikely!

I've learned to not listen to anything about GTA unless Rockstar say it themselves, and to especially ignore anything any news media says about any computer game ever! :D

What's all this about choosing your parents in the character creation mode!?

    http://www.trueachievements.com/n14501/gta-v-more-details-about-the-special-editions.htm
Finally, the Collector's Edition will also include characters from previous titles to be used as a parent option in the character customisation process. The characters Niko Bellic, Claude, and Misty will be available to provide their genes in the new hereditary-based character creation system that uses variable gene dominance between parents to build up a character's appearance in GTA Online. Incidentally, it is worth noting that, just as with real life, your character's daily activities, including family time, work, sports, and couch potato hours, will all have an impact in the way your character appears, and their skills, all of which should lead to a very diverse and organic online experience.

    That sounds a bit odd!

yeah, what are they thinking :-D

seems the online stuff with impact on your traits, and you can start off with nico traits

rather than having nico as your dad.

I've created a "Specchums" crew on the Rockstar Social Club site, for use in GTA V and Online (and also Max Payne 3).

Rockstar have recently announced crew hierarchies: http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/51281/introducing-crew-hierarchies.html

If you want to join the crew, click here! http://rsg.ms/15iBkJh

    Hmmmm I'm not?

Just under 3 weeks, and I know my copy's coming, but I'm just not that bothered, and I feel like I should be.

I'm worried I'm going to have GTA'd myself out again, by playing Liberty and Vice city Stories back to back before it arrives.

Although I'm playing Resi-5 again, but once boredom sets in with that it's back to Vice City Stories.

Wanna try and get the 100% before GTA V turns up.

looking forward to it too, although i havent pre-ordered it. hopefully it will be ok.

havent ordered a game since 'ocarina of time?, only for them to tell me on the day that they didnt have any in stock. which led to an interesting conversation about what pre-ordering a game actually meant.
