Wonder Boy in Monster Land Ending

edited August 2013 in Games
Every time i get to the dragon the game shows a black screen or with luck draws the final screen (the dragon) that i have no way to kill / hurt (or that seems) :(
Somebody here has ever finished it or the game ends with a final crash?

I had the same problem as well. No matter what I have tried to do, the dragon was always stayed there...It's stone dead.

    A - No, no, 'e's uh,...he's resting.
B - Look, matey, I know a dead dragon when I see one, and I was looking at one right then at the end of Wonder boy in monsterland.
A - No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'! Remarkable dragon, the Norwegian Blue, idn'it, ay? Beautiful plumage!
B - The plumage don't enter into it. It's stone dead.
    A - Nononono, no, no! 'E's resting!
B - All right then, if he's restin', I'll wake him up! (shouting at the dragon) 'Ello, Mister Polly Dragon! I've got a lovely fresh cuttle fish for you if you show...
    A - There, he moved!
B - No, he didn't, that was you hitting the monitor
    A - I never!!
    B - Yes, you did!
