PANTAL Sound Deck

I have a Cassette Recorder that has been modded.

It has sticker with "Pantal Sound Deck" On.

Does anyone know what this is for ?

Before I send it to the 'Bay

    the 5 pin connector ? take a pick. .maybe someone can figure what port it goes it.

    my guess is it's drawing power from the computer perhaps and not a mains plug or the only other modded tape deck that comes to mind is the sprinter ones.

    Looks like its modded for C64/VIC-20. The connector looks like the one that was on the brick version of the C2N deck produced for the VIC that I had.
