I chopped out the loops in Acid Pro 4 so they were all the same length (or multiples of the same length) and imported the wavs into Shiru's BeepFX, which has a sampler included. I used the highest quality option (which took up about 30K all in all) although I suppose to make a truly crap effort I should've gone for the lowest quality...

I was really surprised the samples were so good in only 32k.
Also trying and almost failing to suppress giggles at the new genre "shatform"
Whoever hosts next year should hire R-Tape to do the reviewing. The reviews have been a real highlight of this year's competition.
The room with invisible platforms was my homage to the Amazing Illusion from Fantasy World Dizzy. I don't think its too bad, just stay close to the walls and you'll be fine. And I still maintain that time limits are the worst bit of game design ever!

I spent way too long combing speeches for appropriate chunks of audio to piece together. I think I found "I WANT" but milk was "MILlions" + a "L K" sound carefully trimmed from a third place.

Do it! Although it'd have to be a multiload, 32K isn't big enough for a ten-minute drum solo.

The speech is by Shiru's BeepFx. Didn't work out as well as the dalek voice in the last one, but then that was supposed to sound lo-res digital.
I was quite surprised to find there weren't a lot of games featuring Maggie Thatcher in the archive - at least that I could find.
All those desks remind me of the first level of Mikie - shame Joffa isn't here to play this :(
