Very,very addictive game... Quite simple but perfect...
My favourite teams to manage: Luton T , Everton , Southampton , Arsenal ...
Keep on your mind that game was made in 1986 so check out for Divison 1-4 tables of season 1985-86 for better choice of teams you want to manage...

Nice shooter, Jetpac style, but it seems a bit repetitive. Anyone progressed much?
Good game!,good game!...yeah used to play it a lot back then,I do remember the repetition but I saw it as part of the challenge although I think my attention span is much shorter today and if I was to load it up I would struggle with it,have you played Doomsday Castle or Backpackers guide to the universe much?.

Cool sequels; I prefer both games (specially Backpackers) to 'The Pyramid' as they're adventures: exploring, etc not only shooting! :-)

Still play this quite a bit and still love it, the only annoying this is you spend some of the season building your team up and winning matches and progressing though cup games only to be transferred!:smile:

Yes that's true mate... But there is something magical that keeps you addicted to this game... Something that you can't find in any football game today... Until today none made nothing close similiar... FOTY is one and only! Simply UNIQUE!

Worst difficulty curve EVER. The game gets much easier once you get past the first three screens. But that's an almost impossible task.
Back in the day, I got a copy of the game with infinite lives. Even with that, it was really difficult!
Seriously, worst gameplay design EVER. It completely spoils the game, which could be great otherwise.

One of the few games i completed without a cheat.
Watch out in one of the rooms for a guy that fires lightning bolts.
Yes, not a bad game, although its so easy that can be completed in your first go, as I did! Its good fun to explore the screens, though!

Yeah it was really easy to complete, i feel the map should have been a bit bigger though.
