WoS Forum Game ("official" version)
OK, this here is what we be callin' a "WoS Forum Game" ... Yup.
(COMPLETELY stolen from an email chain-game making the rounds back in the 90's)
Grab yer fave paint box and slap some colour on this thing.
Goal of the game is have WoSsers fill in each 40x40 areas, but to have all of the different squares be connected graphically, i.e. if a person draws what looks like an elephant in one square but can't finish the design due to lack of space, the next person could continue with the design or interpret the square next to it into something different, just make sure the flow of the lines make visual sense.
Each 40x40 area is made up of 5x5 attributes (each attrib being 8x8 pixels).
Right now there are a total of 25 squares but if there is enough participation we could extend the mosaic ... endlessly.
Guidelines (b'cuz rulz is wack, yo!) :
1) Work within one 40x40 square at a time.
2) Wait your turn. Once a pic has been posted call out that you're going to do the next one.
3) You don't have to work next to a square that's already been filled.
4) Follow the Speccy limitations, i.e. for each 8x8 attribute use only two colours and make sure you're using BRIGHT on or off correctly.
5) If you're working on a square next to a square that's already been worked on, then extend/interpret any lines/pixels which may "flow" into your square.
6) If no lines are near the border of your square then come up with your own design or continue to interpret the design next to you.
7) Yes, that's an ugleee! version of the Speccy palette. You're welcome to Speccyfy it, and re-upload, please.
8) I use imgur.com for hosting the pic. Whichever host you choose to use doesn't matter. Just make sure you can use the
tags when you post your drawing.
Any questions? Come up with the answer yourselves
Now, what brave soul is going to start the ball rolling?
PS I included the various combinations of the Speccy colour scheme. I believe this to be all possible combos, but please you're welcome to raise your voice if you find an error or something lacking.

Jeepers. 4 hours had passed and no takers, so I take about 15 minutes to scribble summink and upload it, and then when I post it, this appears! Yeah, I should have made an announcement first. Erm, what square are you on Scottie? :)
Interesting results. I like the rainbow effect by Scottie but think it's too complex for me to tackle. The face was easy enough to play with, though I hope I didn't ruin whatever Graz had in mind. Hmmmmm, should we be discussing what we each have/had in mind? Naaah, individual interpretation and such. Though I wonder if that will become an axe/beard/lopsided egg in Graz' tile (upper-right corner).
Me next?
EDIT: Ok, a 5 min jobbie here:
Oops! Wrong one, hey, I just woke up!
EDIT3: I don't know how to use the internet.
....and now I'm reading it on my computer it still seems screwy?
Haha! I remember that
Almost as good as "w*nkers" on Countdown :D
Draw a piccy in one of the squares and try and make it match the others.
Easy-peasy.
Well, it doesn't have to match anything but you can play with any lines that are near your square and incorporate into the design of your square.
That's what I thought! But apparently the OP didn't convey the idea along well enough ... what an inconsiderate bast the OP is! Boo! Hiss!
I wanted to write a plug in for that draw my thing iphone game which just lets you draw random cock or boobies by pressing a button since it would save a lot of time.
All right, I'll whip something up real quick like, yup.
EDIT: [strike]It's either a skinny strongman or a tower in the distance and someone is getting away ... or ... [/strike]I mean, it's a doodle!
You mean, you did not intentionally draw a but plug 'in use' with a bit of wind escaping?
You are mile, and I claim my five squid.
He might be...
