    I never really watched the Detectives, i only saw the inserts that were on the Jasper Carrot programme. I used to like the 'Wiggy' sketches:smile:

    tbh Thin Blue Line would be rubbish without Inspector Grim's rants, they were brilliant.

    Blackadder = probably my favourite sitcom ever. Johnny English was OK. Never really got Mr Bean although my kids like them.

    Rowan Atkinson is a very nice chap according to my mum who met him a few times when she worked for Aston Martin.

    Detectives was quite good as I recall, but I was pretty young

    Loved it, but at the time no-one else seemed to. As was said Grimm was the best character.

    I've been watching the best of Grimm on youtube, and while I can't beat post 3...

    It's my arse on the line and I don't want a cock up. :D
