For a moment there I thought that was going to be source code for the isometric engine... glancing over it I guess it's just the game logic... :(

How many books did you have to read to create sillycon war? and how long did it take to code?

I mostly picked up assembly language programming from experimentation and a couple of magazines such as YS. In the very beginning all I had was an op-code table at the back of the ZX Spectrum manual, later I bought and read The Complete Spectrum ROM disassembly.

TSW took me about a week-end to create, but I did spend a few weeks coding the rendering bits - they're not trivial, especially the shadow screen logic and the masking technique were tricky.

yes, buggy boy is also very nice.

"and what about the fantastic skabet."

If anyone has an original copy of Skabet, I will pick it up for a good price - I have lost my own.

Welcome to the WoS forums, by the way! :)
About Skabet, its going to be difficult to find a copy, there is not even a cover preserved in the archive! :O

Do you know any info about the game itself, like the original price? It would be nice to complete the info in its entry ;)
    Thanks!

    Hi guys.

This was a demo I hacked up back in 1985 that I subsequently used for showcasing my abilities to a few publishing houses. It was never really intended for publication (and it's a mystery how it was spread in the first place).

I still have the source code: http://spork.dk/tsw.asm

Unfortunately this source code is no longer available. :(

Does anybody have a copy of this file?
