Back with healthy eyes :-)
Dear readers,
as you may know, I have had an operation on my right eye. This is called a "vitrectomy" where the content of the eye is removed and the retina distortion is smoothed. They call it "peeling". :-)
Thanks to all of you sending me good wishes. I think it helped. The operation went very well, without pains. And the eye is in good function again.
So I'm back! :-)

Talking of ops, the missus keeps dropping hints about getting me on the slab again. This op also begins with a 'v' and ends with 'tomy' but jeebus it scares the crap out of me. I quite enjoy the the wife getting her hands on the old man and the thought of some fit nurse doing likewise to prep me warms the cockles of the said old man.
The thought of some sadist entering the room with 6 inches of the sharpest steel though...

Well, no operation is something to laugh at, but in my case I was surprised about how good anything went. Except of a bacterial flu infect I was taken with me during my Hospital time (and later at home).
Reading is not longer a problem. I hope this will take a longer time period...
