Super Monaco GP let you drive through cars that got in your way!
Toyota Celica was pretty good.
I really liked Super Monaco GP but found Toyota Celica really hard to control and ended up constantly crashing into rocks and such like, great graphics but i eventually gave up.
Oh, and Turbo Esprit!
no one mentioned the obvious.. that features tracks and circuits....
make a chip :D
p.s. anyone got a roll of sellotape so I can play forumula 1 sim
bugs n cheats destroyed 3 racing games.. nightmare rally / enduro racer.. same engine.. same cheat keys :(
scaletrix, do cash-for-crash and you win.. i.e. slam on the anchors infront of the other player
It was suggested in the instructions that you place a roll of sellotape or similar item over the appropriate keys, and use it to control the car by rolling it left and right in exactly the way a steering wheel does not move in a car.
I seem to remember it actually mentioned a 'sellotape tin' - I have never in my life seen sellotape sold in a tin. I would have thought the tin would cost more to manufacture than the sellotape.

was enduro mentioned ?
I was never sure if I'd dreamt that control advice, or if I'd actually read it.
Were they having a laugh?

Just came across this game by Spirit software, but re-released by Mastertronic as 'Formula 1 simulator', maybe is that the game you're referring to?
I felt it wouldn't need much changing to be a substantial improvement on Chequered Flag. Missed oportunity.
What was the Sellotape for???
