I really did like this game when I started out, but got frustrated by two things:

1 - the small pits, where you only have a lantern, are a neat effect. But solving the huge mazes like this was very frustrating. They would have been much better if you could have lit fires along the way, so you could at least see where you had been before, and eventually illuminate the whole maze, if you really had trouble solving it.

2 - sorry, but I really hate the dance-style minigame. Put me right off. I just didn't get it. I've played the physical type of game, but doing it with a joystick just seems so silly. Was the music supposed to help or was it just a reaction test? There was certainly no obvious rhythm that I could discern. At least a visual flash or something for the regular timing would help.

Walking in the "huge" mazes (they are relatively small for me) is very easy job. Just watch the arrows on the floor and you can't lose your way.

The first three fights are quite easy. Two other fights with the witch are really hard, I had to use rollback. :)

Version 1.4 has just been published. It's a special version we presented in RetroMadrid, with the following updates:

    - Music improved by WYZ.
    - Speed optimization by me.
    - Fixed two tiny bugs: a colour changing mushroom and an out of place apparition by Brunilda.
    - Fixed a pair of translation mistakes, and an additional review of english translation by AugustoRuiz to make it sound more natural.

Downloads, as usual, from the game card:

Tried to play this wonderful game. After collecting the 4 parts of the skeleton i'm back for the skull, and then I can not go back to the map with the witch. because there a bush (highlighted in red)

Btw, who can't to complete last minigames, try POKE #B4D2, #B6 in Spectaculator

Your faith is too strong (magenta colour). Go to the pub and talk with innkeeper. ;-)

My god, Iv spent hours and hours playing on this game, and its not even my preferred genre... An excellent game, with beautiful presentation and plenty of variety... Its not a breeze to complete either... Nice work!...
  • Hi.
Well, seems like the game is blocked; I left the Witch area before giving her all 7 mushrooms. Then - the entrance to the area has been suddenly blocked and I dunno what to do next.
Any body remembers after those years was it a bug in the game or is it really something to do, to get the Which area again?
