Considering I've lived in the US for 7 years now I've done a pretty good job of not turning in to a grotesque disgusting lazy mobility scooter driving Blobbendale :D
its a septic version of time team, with dramatic music, larger than life characters and an end sequence showing the bloke selling all the artifacts in a pawn shop. :D
Anyone else watching True Detective? It won't be everyone's cup of tea but if you enjoy the likes of Breaking Bad, The Wire, The Sopranos, etc, then this looks like being the next classic must-watch TV programme. Episode 5 was probably the best episode of a programme I've ever seen.
I started watching Dexter on Monday, just because I'd heard it was good and I fancied watching something different. I'm now on episode 10 of season 2 and although I don't think this season has been as good as the first one, I'm quite hooked and am watching 3 or 4 episodes a day!
When I'm not watching that, I'm working my way through Crystal Lake Memories which is a massive documentary about the Friday 13th films. It's by the people who made Never Sleep Again (Nightmare on Elm Street). It's really in depth, whit long chapters for each film (and the TV series), each one over 30 minutes long. If you're a fan of the series then this is well worth importing!
I'm watching old episodes of Raw Power, the late-night rock show that used to come on at the start of the 90s, and This Is Horror, a compilation show with bits taken from Steven King's World Of Horror...with some awesome/terrible late night ads and public service announcements in-between!
Finding them on some old tapes at my parents house. Someone was throwing out an old VCR so I nabbed it to check what was on the old vids...The player is in really good condition too, so hopefully I won't end up with many chewed-up tapes!
Got about 200 tapes to look through though, so it might take me a while! :D
Did anyone watch that thing about the international space station orbiting the earth?. A potentially fascinating program turned into a bore fest by Dermot O'Leary.

It peaks in Season 4 with a great performance from John Lithgow. Unfortunately the quality then slides, with a pitiful final season (and especially finale), but don't let that put you off, it's all still well worth watching.

I did enjoy it though it's a bit of an unusual film and not what the trailer makes you think its like.
You should see the one when he tries to tackle the Inferno
It nearly kills him
Not all Americans, surely?
I'm pretty certain that at least 1 of the Olsen sisters is a skinny-minnie! :D
Well, almost all Americans.
I bet Boozie is slim but he's not really an American!
It's all the vicodin she takes :D

I'd maybe look fat if I was in a Meth Den?

Matthew McConaughey's performance is astonishing.
