Help needed from one of our Dutch friends.

I am trying to get hold of a physical copy of Age of Wonders III but it isn't being sold in the UK. It is however being sold at boll.com (http://www.bol.com/nl/p/age-of-wonders-3/9200000025955766/) but as far as I can see they won't deliver to the UK.

So would somebody be willing to get this for me and send it on please.

PM me please if you can help out.

When I looked yesterday they didn't have the DVD listed, along with all the normal ones like zavvi, play, supermarkets and the rest but they did have the case with just a Steam download voucher - not what I want. I notice the one you linked to doesn't say DVD for the media either, just "computer game" so that's probably just the voucher as well.

I can get the steam voucher from anywhere it's the DVD I want which is import only.

Before you say "it says DVD on the case" they all do, that's the standard picture.

Well Amazon are asking for a delivery address and giving you delivery cost and time options so I would guess it's for a physical copy.

Fair comment but is it a box with a DVD in or a box with the steam voucher in the same as you got for example if you bought the skyrim DLC's from Game?.

I quote from the official site.....

Q: So why isn?t the game available in retail shops in more countries?
We focused on countries where (strategy) PC games retail is prevalent and healthy, which pretty much is continental Europe. In the US and UK, it?s a challenge to get new full price PC titles in shops these days. We also had to limit the amount of co-publishing deals, due to internal overhead.

Q: Can I buy a physical copy from another country?
Retail copies from Northwestern Europe are not region locked and include English in-game text and voice. If you?re looking for a Limited Edition, the German one sold on Amazon.de could be an option. Careful! Lower priced copies from Russia and Poland are region locked for activation. (unless you want them just for the physical goodies!)

    and

Namco Bandai Games: France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden
The team is super excited that AoW boxed is coming to these countries: there is nothing like the magic when you see your own game on the shelves. The Regular Edition also includes a cool Flapbox. You can buy it from bol.com

no idea tbh, i dont buy digital copies, all i did was select the pc and video games section which is what i always do when i want to buy a game
as far as im aware thats for a physical copy, dont they have a digital section you can choose from instead? like they do with cds, they have an option to buy on mp3 instead

Well I got my physical copy and very nice it is too. Problem is now I feel a little ripped off. I put the (very nicely printed) DVD in the drive and fired up the installer..... which installs Steam so you can download the game.....

I checked the DVD and all that's on it is the Steam client in various languages so that's how it was designed.

Good game though if you like that sort of game so it's not all bad.
