Help Identifying a Game

edited April 2014 in Games
Just wondering if anyone can identify this game for me, been through the archives but nothing jumps out.

When I was at school we had a speccy, and there was a game that involved buillding a castle. Every turn you had to assign people to certain jobs, building certain parts of the building and defending and finding food as well, possibly recruiting new people but not sure on that one. It was turn-based, there was a limited number of turns to complete it, and there were random events that affected either the building or the number of people you had.

Cheers :)

Sounds like Fletcher's Castle to me.

Heh, we used to play a game similar to this on the school's BBC. But this Fletcher's Castle is very sarcastic. On day 1 a load of my workers ran away because I didn't have guards watching them. So I changed that on day 2. But then I lost a load of men to Saxon raiders because I hadn't set enough guards.

Sounds like Castles by EA on the Amiga.

  • Could it be Ramparts? It's not turn based but you do get to rebuild your castle Tetris style.

I rather think you are overlooking the complexities of what I said. I said it probably isn't Stonkers.. and it wasn't. But here is the clever bit - I knew it wasn't! I was just being wacky!
