Toastrack key sound but no image

Got a toaster that had a bad ULA, replaced that with one out of a grey +2 (Im sure ive done this in the past and it was ok), now i get the menu up but key presses have no effect, I can hear the keypress being registered through the tv speaker but it doesnt effect whats on the screen

    Swapped out the membrane and that fixed it, I just found it odd that I could hear the clicks. Anyway, further issues now, no AY Sound at all!

    'Twas probably the extended key part of the membrane that failed (so your up and down arrows were registering as 6 or 7).

    That could well answer that B, sound issue now fixed too, ULA replacement x3! Fully functioning now!
