I've seen these before in Iceland but i avoid pastry stuff because it tends to give me heartburn but i do love the occasional Greggs sausage roll:smile:

my area is so low rent we don't have a greggs... just an amass of crappy "chicken" (for ?2 with chips n a drink. think not) shops..
2 featured on tv for it's rat infestations... and yet I still see people using em.

One thing I miss about the UK is the pie shops. I used to like just being to nip in and get a warm pasty or a couple of sausage rolls. You can get deep-frozen pies here, but it's not the same. There is one British-style pie shop I know of that I drive by, but they only have hot pies if they've just come out of the oven and I usually have the wife with me when I go by there, who would over-analyze it to death.
(She's a total foodie, whereas I mostly just eat to fill a hole.. She wishes that I cared about food as much as her, but I don't - never have.
Now and again I feel like "oh, I fancy 'X-food'" which is nice to have, but when she feels like that, she makes it herself and it has to be 'perfect' and she has to make a big fuss of making it, whereas I really can't be arsed, and if somewhere that sells it ready-made isn't close to hand, far as I'm concerned I'd just as soon say sod it and nuke a bowl of beans.. I've never really mentioned pies much before, so if I went out of my way to buy a pie, we'd probably have to plumb the depths of my pie-lust or some crap.. )

ZX1 there's hope for you yet some of these atrocities make the Pizza look good :o
Sweet Sue may find a reprieve as some of them even make her whole chicken in a can seem appetizing.
Figured this was the perfect place to post this rather than making a new thread for it.......enjoy.....or don't ;)

Boozey, the stuff in that blog is absolutely terrifying. Bleugh!
I had a look down those pics to see if I recognised any of the plates or cutlery from this thread...
That food looked disgusting!
If we all do it he might come back!
We call them 'Dogfood Pies'
Didn't like their pies much, i tried the mince one but it was really greasy and the pastry was soggy.
Your not supposed to deep fry it !
, :)
In other news, the radish crop is bountiful so I'll be slapping some of these fellas in a salad (after cleaning them of course :)).
The Spaghetti Council will be all over your arse too.
