I wanted to try this after remembering the ad from back in the day but it's still MIA. How can a game by someone like PSS still be missing after all these years? It must have sold some surely?

unless you know for sure that it came out, I'd say it's probable that it was never released, as there are no magazine reviews, and the lone 'preview' in crash just vaguely describes it, no screenshots etc.

I think some games listed as MIA in the archive were actually never released, - not 100% sure about that though.

Yes, very much what def said. If you take a look, they also announce in Crash, 2 other games which never saw the light, Dr. Acula and the conversi?n of Hyper Biker:

That isn't the game mentioned in the preview though, as it is an adventure game rather than an arcade game.

Also, I'm sure I've played that adventure game before. Is it definitely called Poltergeist?

Well, it isn't really that hard to type "poltergeist" into search engine ;)

There are 2 games called "Poltergeist". Once is MIA and another one isn't. It is the second one (by Firebird) which is also present on the warez site linked.

you sure? the Poltergeist in that Crash preview even describes itself as "Arcade Horror" if you look at the P.S.S. image...

the other Poltergeist in Ralf's link is a text adventure so I doubt you mean that one.

Yes, the previews and the original poster was after the arcade action game. All the links provided so far have been for the text adventure.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't being very clear.
