Seems like people should change their ebay passwords now

I also changed my Paypal password as a precaution.

I had an attempted intrusion into my eBay account last month, no evidence of any wrongdoing but I obviously reset that password and any related ones at that stage. This possibly explains it!

See this on the news earlier. No email from eBay and just been on their site to investigate, only info I found about it was in the small news/updates section down the left hand side of my eBay page when logged in. Not only did this hack happen 3 months ago, they can't even inform it users well on their own site.

Similar here, nothing at all on their site, just the usual "if you're a scamming buyer you can get a refund AND keep the money" advert. The only "message" I got from them was this just after logging in:

You couldn't make it up, could you? No doubt we'll all get an official email about it some time in June.

I was greeted with a screen similar to the above, but it did actually tell me of a security breach, and that nothing will go in or out of my account until I change my password, but then it wouldn't let me change my password.

(It has since let me do it though...)

Perhaps it's because I have adblock installed. You'd think there'd be something official on every single bloody page in 50 foot high flashing pink letters, but never mind...
