  Does anyone know if there is a blog or something similar by the programmer, which describes his reasons and experiences when producing this conversion?

  I don't think so.
  
  It was made around 1997 by some Russian guys from the demoscene who as far as I know have forgotten about Spectrum many years ago.
  
  The biggest chance to find anything about this project would be to browse Russian electronic press from the period.
