    Nah man...on the GOG homepage, down in the lower right side, it says the freebie has ended.

    Which is annoying because I missed it by 30mins :(

    The flash offers are looping, I've seen some of them 2 or 3 times now, so you'll probably get another chance to see what's on if you check when you can.

    I noticed those gog.com offers looping as well. Keep checking back and you're bound to see your game loop round again.

    All for around 2/3/4 dollars each. Remarkable prices. :D At last count, over the past year or two, I've bought 50 odd games from gog.com. Such a great website. I'm downloading Baldur's Gate in the background as I write this. Going to do some old skool D&D RPG playing in a few mins.

    I bought it when it was free and it said i had to wait till it got "restocked" before i could download it and would get an email when it's available.

    I got the email about 4 hours later, i think they claim "restocking" as the reason for the delay when in fact it's them trying to space out everyone downloading at the same time and eating up their bandwidth. I'd assume whenever they give away a game for free they must get hundreds if not thousands of new accounts created purely to grab the free game and their servers take a battering especially when its a 2GB+ game.

    I just wish they wouldn't lie about a "shortage" of a digital download and say they need to space out the downloading due to increased demand.

    You should have seen it when it hit launch time for the freebie. For the hour before, there was a timer saying they had a vague 'something special coming'. As soon as it hit launch time, the website fell on its arse for a while, took me an age to finally get in and see what the offers were. If that's the impact of a loose promise of something good, there's no way they'd cope with a full scale download assault.

    As it stands, I've not downloaded any of the games I've bought yet, I'm just increasing my virtual pile of shame. So far this week I have bought (all in caps as its a cut and paste):

    Picked up Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition for $5. Unfortunately I don't have a system capable enough to play it and it will have to wait till I get around to building a new one.

    Just an extra reminder. It's not 24 hours, but 30 minutes. There's still 10 minutes left of it.

    It is pretty good but you'll need a decent gaming PC to give it any justice.

    Damn, I just bought that a few days ago too. But I would've missed it as a freebie anyways. Great game on the 360, the port looks really good, but unfortunately it's a bit unplayable on my Athlon II 2.6GHz. Shame really as I'd enjoy going through it again.

    Shame that it doesn't have the 2 DLC either, and it doesn't have the brilliant music but it's cool that they've put the videos as extras, some of them were good.
