Donnington '94... I remember it well. We arrived late that evening having travelled down cramped up in an old BT van... We camped up during the night and made a makeshift toilet out of some haybails and a hole in the ground. Morning breakfast consisted of veinese whirls washed down with special brew

I will trump you with Monsters of Rock 1981, dc, whitesnake, blue oyster cult, slade (absolutely, fantastic), Blackfoot and More.

Second time I'd seen dc, Does that make old.

Not nearly old as karingal though:lol::lol::lol:
I'll trump your 1981 seeing of AC/DC with seeing them live at Moomba Festival, Melbourne, Australia March 1976.

And yes you are probably are nearly as old as me...

  • Looking at that big long list of bands from a few years back that mel posted made me think....I've seen some of those bands :))
    Every night is curry night!
  • I have never been to a Festival in my life and have no intention of starting, although I do love to watch the TV coverage, I just don't like people !
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........

  • The Glastonbury line up gets worse every year. Some guy called Jeremy Corbyn's playing the Pyramid stage. Whoever he is!

  • Went to Hellfest (France) at the weekend.

It was flippin' hot (especially when you're kipping in a tent) but pretty good. Lots of choice of bands to see.
