As I remember Fikee, after giving up with Double Dragon announced working on another game, some shoot-em-up and things seemed to go quite well.

Then he disappeared. Maybe he just decided that Spectrum takes too much time from his life and gives too little back ???
I'm fine. I changed nickname and I keep low profile since that time as I feel I had tendencies to be quite negative and I don't want spoil friendly mood here on wos. Fact is I don't have much time since I started work for Barclays. But still here as a anonymous reader every second day or so...
And I did not left the DD. I was kicked out. That makes me special ;)

Nice to see you are still around! By the waz, how is "All your base are belong to us" going?? :)

Hi Fikee, Catmeows or whatever you wish to be called now.

Yes, we all sometimes act negatively. Time to forgive, forget and keep having fun :)

I'll join Ivan's question. What happened with "All your base are belong to us" project?

I allow myself the luxury of rewritting code until i feel happy with IT. When I was working on Party Worms, it took two years to finish it even when it is so simple game . I started it from scratch 5 times and always left it unfinished. Then, I have every part game covered in one or more unfinished versions, I was going for final attempt, writting the game during two weekends. Of course there was big advantage as everything I have to write I had in one,two , sometimes more, versions somewhere on disk. So it was like building it of Lego pieces. Fact is i HATE returning to old code and I don't have time to write game from scratch in one session so this the only way I can finish bigger project. Back to your question : Aybabtu is somewhere around the point I could start thinking About final attempt and I would be quite happy to finish it by spring or autumn, preferably this year.

I wonder if GreenCard got his green card? Or maybe that's the reason why he's not been around for a long while ... kicked off the forums for being an illegal/undocumented/migrant alien? Those Commodorkians in disguise! Comin' over here to steal them jobs of ours! Hey, maybe I want to clean toilets, pick maize, work at a turkey farm, but am already in a job that precludes me from those manual-labor type jobs ... but I'd like to know that I can always fall back on pickin' cotton. And don't git me started on them stealin' our wimmin also! Anchor babies, bah!

( No Suthen'er in their right mind would ever use words such as "precludes" or "maize". Humor fail! -Ed )

Only just spotted this! Big LOLZ!

I'm doing well, ol' friend ;) Dunno if I'll be active, I'm coming back for a read once in a while though... Still a Speccylover, but I'm overwhelmed by tons of other things these days. Catch-up with ya some time via PM?

I started writing an email the other week, but it quickly got so long I thought, if he's not in a good place does he really want a long rambling mail from me and bottled.

I'll try contacting him tonight though :)

I just thought he was doing it for a dare most of the time.. A friend asked me for beeper things, and I'd noticed beepola site vanished also.. we used to have a bloke at school who was forever in trouble and a few would egg him on to do silly thing.. usual things, fire alarms / extinguishers / super glue door knobs etc... so I was used to his comments , it just reminded me of that.

Yes, Where is he? I don't know him personally but something like worry for him, he wouldn't just stop posting here without a word and without a reason :(

Skarpo has decided to give someone else a turn as the person who has posted the most on WoSf.
