I know i shouldn't, but i still am a little excited about this, based on the trailer and what with George Miller in on it and all.

I think I'm more excited about the game than the film, developed by Avalanche, the people who brought us Just Cause 2 (which was fab, in my opinion).

It's being made by the original director, and personally I think Tom Hardy will do the Max character justice.

    Let's hope I'm right.

I still think they should troll fans by putting 'from the director of happy feet and babe - pig in the city' on the poster.

original mad max, was made with real motorbikes tearing at break neck speeds on real roads, with a cart blanche from the police to do it.

    they won't recapture that. :-/

If you're referring to George Lucas, that's because GL is a **** director. George Miller OTOH is really quite good.

No, there will probably be too much CGI and too little real stunts and bending plates. I still hope for it to be better than the car-chase movies of today (shaky camera, closeups of spinning wheels, no real sense of what's going on).

It's not being directed by Michael Bay, so we should be ok there.

So long as they turn off any lens flare, that will help.

Quick question : wasn't the actress who played Lizzie Birdsworth in Prisoner Cell Block H in one of the films?
    No one important.

2019 is a good one, if you can find the unedited version, the edited version makes no sense, has about half the scenes missing, and ends at a random spot about 20 minutes before the actual end of the movie :D

The first one, it's pretty funny watching a little old lady waving a bloody great shotgun about
