After typing 'DREDD' how do you get past the green DOS type language and end up playing the game in the screenshot please?

(not used to dealing with these type of games, +3 only I take it?)

EDIT - typed EXIT and the game started, confused!

    Red Heat.

It's weird, despite playing this a lot bitd I was sure it was on the Amiga, but after playing the version from WOS I actually think I played on Spectrum+. They look so different you'd think there should be no doubt in my mind.

Great cartoony graphics, but a bit of a howler to play. I must be getting old, I can't crush the rock on the button masher bonus level anymore. You can also just obviate most of the gameplay on level 1 by walking back and forth!

It's to preserve Arnie's modesty. There's enough nudity in the background already!

    Hey Peeps

Currently, I've been playing plenty of Wanted: Monty Mole, Auf Wiedersehen Monty, JSW: Marias Revenge.

JSW: ZX Heroes is a fun game as well (love the Monty Mole screen!).

    :)

The URL is not liked by WoS :-(

Try to go to the page with this TINYURL- address:

    Anno Domini is on WoS:

I've never heard of it. It got a score of 7.44, and it seems interesting.

I knew it existed but never played it. At 4K won't be expecting too much!

Cavelon by Ocean. Great maze game. I couldn't get it back in the day (I didn't even know it existed). A bit difficult!

Playing Cavelon again. Hard to play using a touch screen (excuses, excuses! :-))

Addicted to this game! I like it!

Just been playing Jet-Set Willy III :)

Quite a good version, IMO. Love the Monty Mole 'mineshaft' rooms!!!!

TBH - I'm trying to find as many Monty-Mole-esque games as possible, in the archive (Basically, I'm currently obsessed with Monty and Gremlin-style graphics / room architecture)!

If anyone knows of any other platform n ladders games set in a mining environment (aside from obvious games, such as Manic Miner, etc), PM me! :D

A good portion of my JSW remakes have mines in them....I have a slight obsession with putting them in there ;)

    Quite a good version, IMO.

This is my favorite jsw sequel, which I've played more than any other. :)

Also, playing Sabre Wulf, spectrum and bbc version.
I'm pleasantly surprised with this bbc version.
Very colorful sabreman, good animation and sound effects, giving a really nice atmosphere, though the resolution is lower.
Great game, no doubt one of the best from Ultimate.
I tried also Jet Pac and Atic Atac for bbc, but Spectrum versions are much better.

Ha! :D Nothing wrong with that obsession!

I just played JSW: Maria on Tour!!!! Fantastic!!!

Love the Monty Mole hill inclusion (and the underground Mole tribe village, etc) :D talk about feeding my Monty Mole room interest!

ZX Heroes is another awesome game - love the Monty Mole room in that also!

Never did Monty look so creepily scary!!!

    :)

Nebulous. nearly 30 years later and I've STILL not completed it. tbh, I wouldn't like to think how many Speccy games I've actually completed back in the day, honestly. *whistles^

Gladiator. It hasn't aged very well, there are better fighting games for the Spectrum, definitely.

A cool feature is the choice of weapons.

The Train Game. Chuffing* hard, but plenty of "just one more go" factor.
