    Wot no mustard, polo? :o

I'd like some of Dave's crispy seaweed though. I love that stuff... tempura seaweed is lovely (if a bit pricey) as well :)

My egg or fog's noodles? If the former blame the lighting, I can't turn off the flash on my camera so I put gaffa tape over the bulb. But as you can see it's an imperfect solution.

Short of reading the instructions there's literally nothing I can do.

Is that real seaweed, or the deep-fried shredded greens they serve up in Chinese restaurants? Where did you get it from, anyway? If it is the Chinese stuff, I've never seen it in strips like that before.

I've had a Welsh breakfast with laverbread before, which was rather tasty (though thankfully without cockles).

Yours doesn't have the tempura batter though does it? Unless it was hiding...

There was another one being sold in Waitrose a while back which was very thin sheets of dried seaweed. Can't remember the name but it was lovely stuff.

Bought some potato cakes the other day. Tend to pop 'em in the toaster and then lather them with marge.

Is that a tinned tomato or a splodge of tommy K in the middle of the plate?
  • edited August 2014
    It's tomato sauce chef.

    (Tommy K indeed.)

I also toaster my potato cakes, and usually burn myself trying to get them out of the damn thing.
