A really unsung Coogan creation. There's a lot of depth to this character and it's a great show. Very funny but also quite sad/moving in places.

In between playing Resi-Revelations I've spent an hour or so catching up on the Spectrum Show, I've not had time to watch them in the last few months and have started to fall behind on them (which is really annoying as I usually watch them right away). So I'm trying to catch up a bit before Paul releases any more

You ever look at the announcements forum? About once a month Paul posts a link to the latest episode.

Just type The Spectrum Show into youtube, and go to Paul's channel on there, all the episodes are up.

a new zombie series on syfy

Have a looksy at Helix, another Syfy series. Zombie-ish stuff and I thought it was quite watchable. It was a bit Lost in keeping it's secrets close to its chest initially, but at least there are some reveals.

Just watched half of 'An American werewolf in Paris' but put it off and deleted it, it was terrible, the main characters were dumb and the whole movie was a mess. The first one was miles better.

  • To be fair, the first one was a bit crap too but in a funky skillo sort of way!

I saw my first ever episode of Breaking Bad yesterday.

It's pretty good, episode 1 has compelled me to watch more. I've got a bit of chemistry so I look forward to picking holes in it :D

It's quite well thought out, it may challenge you ;)

Really good show, which reminds me I still haven't watched the last episode yet, I'll have to before I go back to England.

The one thing I really regret about this show other than not watching the last episode yet is actually not watching it as it was on TV. I always thought it sounded interesting as my wife was watching it in the other room, but I just never watched it with her. Then when she was in England in 2012 I did a marathon of the first 4 seasons, and finished them just in time for her getting back to the US, and the last season starting.

Possibly one of the best TV shows I've ever watched, and I don't say that lightly as just about every US TV show disappoints me to the point of feeling angry that I've wasted my life watching them.

    This one didn't ;)

I've finally got around to watching "Tucker & Dale vs Evil" and although it's only 20 minutes in, it's already a film I know I'll be watching again! A very clever twist on this type of film :-)

Yup it's arguably the best TV show ever created. It's certainly up there with The Wire, Sopranos, The Shield, etc. Anthony Hopkins certainly thought so! Fortunately I watched it 'live' from about episode 3 and it was torture especially waiting for the last series! The last episode is excellent as they wrap everything up. Except for Heulle. I wonder if he's still waiting for Hank :-)
