My kid is 1 year and half and totally hooked on Mickey Mouse.

I've been playing the new version of Castle of Illusion, since he loves it, and the game itself although a bit frustrating is quite good (not as good as the original).

This made me think of the golden age of Disney Video gamming (the 8 bit era, and part of the 16 bit), and my favourite disney games.

I would have to go with Castle of Illusion for master System, and Darkwing Duck for Gameboy (there was also a nice Donald game, not sure the name). There was a Final Fantasy type of game, that was interesting also.

What are your favourite disney themed video games?

And is there any good Disney game for "our" speccy?

    My all-time favorite was always Alladin. And Lion King.

    oh... I totally forgot about those!

    Alladin for SNES is a great platformer, mostly forgoten because of the megadrive version!

    Infoseek shows a Disney software publisher with a list of games.

    Most are mia or never released. :-P

    And a bunch of unofficial ones with the search Walt Disney pictures.

    The Kingdom Hearts games are fantastic. Disney meets Square action RPG's. Although I've only played the first 2 "main" games on PS2.

    Duck Tales was excellent on the Game Boy and it's recent remake on a XboxLive is also really good! The Donald Duck game on the Megadrive was also very good. Quack Attack I think it was called. That's well worth checking out too :-)

    Quackshot. A fave of my kids back then.

    Personally I favoured Castle & World of Illusion.

    Thanks :) My mind just drew a blank there! I think there was a game called Quack Attack for the Deamcast era consoles, but I'm not sure what that was like.
