    Yes, exactly. I bought a job lot on ebay for pennies in the hope that a few worked, and they did, this one is the only one that is failing to do anything.

    I have not opened it to troubleshoot it simply because I got what I wanted from the rest of the auction. Could be something as easy as a cold solder joint.
