The Biz - missing audio extras
I've been playing the excellent music management game by Chris Sievey and wondered if there was any mp3s of the accompanying audio stuff? Apparently its got an interview with Chris (by Frank Sidebottom), some hints and tips for the game plus some music tracks.
Good game anyway, well worth a look :)

Not sure about the extras though.
Very atmospheric what with the regional news programmes and magazines.
Gonna have a crack at it now....remember being on it for quite a while last time.
Anyway, gotta go and earn some dosh now but if I can dig out the interview part when I'm back then I can't see any harm in uploading that section of the tape. Incidentally, all the songs on the tape were re-recorded for the game, as far as I'm aware. I compared some of them against the original versions on YouTube etc and they do sound slightly different. Again, I'm sure I read something somewhere about why they were re-recorded (copyright probably) but not sure if I made a note of where exactly.
That sounds absolutely fantastic! As for copyright, hey I won't tell anyone if you don't :) I love the Freshies, trying to track down all their stuff just now so this would be great to hear (and always after any Frank I haven't heard).
Very sad news about Chris SIevey's youngest son Harry lately :(

Listening to it again it doesn't sound too bad but I'm going to re-sample the whole tape "soon".... as Retro Computers Ltd like to say ;)
One of my favourite clips is this one
or this
Great to see Frank/Chris Sievey fans!!! I am determined to make a Frank Sidebottom game as a tribute (just a fun thing) and want to cram as much stuff in so you would need to have listened to all this stuff to get clues to how to complete the game (what number should Little Frank bet all his hard earned cash on at roulette for example!) I could easily make it in game maker or some javascript framework but that seems against the spirit...I've been thinking about it for a couple of years now, one day....
On a different note Chris was on the brink of joining WOS to talk about The Biz and other related stuff shortly before he died, what a loss !
I can't wait for the Frank Sidebottom film to come out !
I was wondering whether Chris would have found WoS, sadly I didn't know anything about Chris or the freshies or his involvement with spectrum until after he died. I remember seeing a pic of Frank at Rebellion and I thought that was weird a real blast from the past but I couldn't work out why he was there (or why someone was posting a pic from Rebellion, but sadly learned it was in tribute) I was only ever aware of him on Motor Mouth and Whats Up Doc, and do remember him popping up on some dodgy cable channels in the late 90's but I was completely unaware of his 2000's revival until learning he had died, and then again when Filth came out I had to track down the shed show DVD and since then theres been a huge revival (the bobbins Frank film and the not-bobbins documentary!) If the Filth film had come out before he died he would have been huge I think, I remember reading Filth years ago and thinking Irvine Welsh was taking the **** with mentions of the Timperley EP etc. didn't click with me that these were real records :D

Fantastic clip
I am trying to get a replacement copy of the DVD " My home movies " as my copy has stopped working, part of the problem is that Chris had most of his Frank collection stored in not very suitable conditions and they deteriorated quickly. So by the time of sending them out, they were already going downhill in quality.
Bump - someone on FB just asked for this. If someone downloaded the above interview could they DM it to me and I'll get it to them - ta :)
No need to ask anyone for a copy, I'm actually quite approachable, you know! ;)
I've not got round to deleting it yet but I think Dropbox brought in some changes the week after I posted it and so most the the stuff in my public folder was no longer automatically shareable unless I created new links for it. So here it is again...

I will delete it soon-ish, however. I will also be doing a resample of it at some point on a better tape deck but there's the little matter of finding where the tape's gone first.
