Another day, another RIP thread :(

LFO were responsible for "the worst record ever made" according to Steve Wright. He's a cock though.

    RIP, sad...

    I can almost guarantee that the first time I heard LFO's first album I would've been playing a speccy, it was one of about 5 tapes my mate would play constantly, and whenever I went round his house all we ever did was go on his spec. remember hearing it loads :-(

    Not really my scene, but recognise that tune above from driving around in my mate's car at college....so has a place in my memories.

    I'd almost forgotten how much good stuff they've done actually... this is one of my favourite remixes ever, as I said on fb last night it sounds like it was beamed up from outer space:



    Love this too, could get lost in it for hours...

    Very sad to hear this. Mark Bell made some very fine electronic music, ranging from real bangers (as LFO, Speed Jack, or Fawn) to beautiful stuff together with Bj?rk on her album "Homogenic".
