  It's an English joke; flakes for people in receipt of 'benefits', i.e. ALDI is a budget supermarket strictly for the unemployed! Unlike LIDL, of course, which actually sells some nice imported German peppered ham, Greek mini-jaffa cakes, German (Ecuadorian cocoa) dark chocolate and Italian olive oil... :lol:
