Another name the film thread....
There was a film on ages ago that i've forgotten the name of, it's a fairly new film from Australia about a schoolgirl that wants to go to the prom but doesn't have a date, i can't remember much after that except a guy that wants to take her is held prisoner in her house and she turns out to be a total psycho, he's tortured but manages to escape but is caught again, i think he survives but that might be wrong!
There's also a basement with these kind of cannibal type people living in there. The film was totally ****ed up but i enjoyed it. I mentioned it at work and no one knew what it was called.

on this topic, my fav Aussie horror movie is Long Weekend. very little gore, but one of the most intense films I've seen. there was a rubbish remake a couple of years ago, I'm talking about the 1970s version
