NewRetroArcade - Unreal Engine 4
Just downloaded this and had a quick look. Nice little environment, very authentic feel but it's tedious playing the games. I went straight to the Outrun machine, but can't play that one! :(

My only experience with Unreal Engine 4 so far has been with the PS4 game Daylight and to be honest, it's really quite hard to see what the new engine is doing in that was it looks pretty bog standard to me. it does have some good lighting effects, but even those look nothing special, so it's good to see how pretty the engine can look with some colours in (Daylight is very "grey")
I'll play properly when I've dug out my Xbox360 controller ;-)
seems cool as a weird sort of demo, just wished that somehow when you started a machine it cuts to a full screen, or full window version
I think it stays like it disabuse the whole thing was designed with Occulus Rift in mind. I imagine if you play it on that, it'll feel much more immersive.
I think I found a secret too! If you pick up the phone from the couch and put it back on the hook, you end up holding an audio tape of "Thriller"
I wonder if there's any more secrets like that in there?
I know it's not ideal, but it really does move smoothly. No sudden jerks etc. I could lower the settings, but it suits my needs :-)
