Jack The Nipper with horn cheat
Had mentioned this before on here. Played Jack The Nipper lots as a great game and found the horn cheat by accident. Only had the game probably a week.
It was brand new so I knew it wasn't in any of the mags. Was really excited as hadn't found anything like that before. Had a great chance of getting my name printed in my fav mag!
I sent the tip into Crash but it never appeared. The horn cheat appeared many issues later from someone else. I think I remember seeing it over a year later... was a long time ago now! :D
Way Of The Exploding Fist was too easy because of the leg sweep. Game became much tougher if you forced yourself not to use it.
The leg sweep was even more of a problem on the C64 (which looked and sounded better); so one really had to decide that it was a banned move to enjoy the game.
I found the crouching lunge punch much more effective than the foot sweep tbh, possibly because of the speed it comes out, the computer could rarely counter it until about 10th dan
I would say the speccy one is hard compared to the c64 and atari ones.. a decent port though.
2 that spring to mind.. nightmare rally after I found the cheat key by accident.. and try playing break thru with the jump buttton pressed..
I actually find the C64 version harder than the Speccy version, the fighting mechanics are ever so slightly different, not massively, but enough to throw you off just a little bit when you're mainly used to the Speccy version.
Beach Head was pretty easy, I'm sure I completed it after a few goes. I still enjoyed playing it though.
Yep this one...well maybe? Is it Beach Head 1 or 2 where the last level is the one when you have to lob sticks across a river at somebody on the other side, if so that one is super easy. But regardless I think both games were quite easy anyway. I know I completed both quite quickly when I was younger.
The one-on-one beat 'em ups are generally pretty easy.
You can finish Yie Ar Kung Fu with one move (the diagonal lunge kick or punch, I think - a while since I played it). So, like others have said above with WOTEF etc, it's more of a challenge to mix up the moves.

Low Kick, High Kick, Repeat. ;)
Or just gun down the woman.
Anyway, the obvious suggestions have all gone now so I'll put in Myth. Really easy game but super replayable.
In the battle of the two best animated games on the system, I'll always pick Myth to play over Rex.
Ill try that next time :)
I got more use out of the poster.
I completed it (all difficulty levels) on my first go in about 5 minutes.

Once you get the hang of the map layout and the important door colours, Atic Atac is fairly easy to run through.

Still a great game though.
Yeah that's an easy game to complete, once you get the hang of beating Jammy Jim:smile:
OH and I'll also add the amazing 'Stop the Express'. Great game, quite
Easy. Great spelling mistake... I mean ending! :-D
RoboCop is an ace game and a great example of how the 8-bits squeezed every last drop of playability out of a licence just as they did with Chase H.Q.
I once got four platinum disks on 'Rockstar Ate My Hamster' but it was on the Amiga. I include it because it is essentially a straight port.
It was quite good actually. Bounder crossed with a shoot-em-up.

Or onto it :p
Another vote for Rene', and Target Rene', and Street Gang, all very easy indeed.
Sooty and Sweep is ridiculously easy as well, granted the game is aimed at little kiddies though, I finished it on my first go.
Curse of Sherwood is very easy too, the only tricky part is the marsh.
Double Dragon if you can suffer through it to the end doesn't hold much of a challenge either.
Rapscallion is also very easy, but at least it's good fun, even if it does look like it's made out of stickle bricks.
Kung Fu Master is quite easy, but it's crap.
I know there's loads more, but can't think of any more.

It's easy on the NES, but the dodgy scrolling makes the Speccy version pretty brutal, in my opinion.
It'd be annoying as it would take you 15 minutes to get across the screen
