Hello dear folks, yes the time has come at last to introduce you all to…
BALACHOR’S REVENGE.
This gorgeous flip-screen collect-em-up and RPG is the sequel to our very first release, courtesy of the good programming team known as Lasasoft. Thanks millions, guys!

Embark on side-quests, defeat Balachor’s guardians, and avoid the henchmen that give chase. Maybe then you can find a way into the fortress and lay this wizard down once and for all!

Looks nice!
But you should post some video of the gameplay.
I wonder how much RPG it has in it and how it is different from existing similar (at least visually) games - Robin of the Wood, Firelord, Curse of Sherwood etc.

Well, I didn't want to spoil any surprises with video.
Just a dash, Ralf. There are choices within character interaction screens which did not feature in the first game. :)
I remember you saying it that way in your radioshow. It's always been a pleasure, never a chore for me, so unless Morkin/Rorthron say otherwise I'm going with a hard 'ch'
PS - it's been about 12 hours and I haven't received mine yet.

It is fairly similar to Catacombs of Balachor (but hopefully improved). There are sections that have the same collect-and-run gameplay of the original. But there are also new elements: weapons, object puzzles and characters to interact with. Overall, it's a bit less frantic than Catacombs and has more puzzle elements. However, the puzzles are not obscure and there is in-game help that can be unlocked if you collect treasure, so to some extent you can decide how you want to play it.

You will be able to try out the game, if you wait a little. Our plan is for the physical release of Balachor's Revenge to be accompanied by the usual WoS download. The download will lack all of the goodies in Graz's physical release, but it will contain the same game. We will wait till the physical pre-orders are in people's hands first, before posting the download link. But once the game is out there, we will make it freely available. So if you prefer to try before you buy, that will be possible.
Personally, I've already put my order in for the Monument release, but as one if the authors I already have a pretty good idea of what I am buying!
Wowsers! Got it today. I'm glad I've finished my xmas shopping 'cos I'm going to be on this a fair bit the next days.
Yep, it's one of those games that hook you from the moment you start. Remember real life though. You're gonna need to eat, drink, and have a wee now and again!

Yup, never before seen - except by some talented folk that have been sworn to secrecy. :)
We tried, but only his brother, Howard, was available.
Taking that as a compliment.
Now, time for a piccy.
It's all about the honey, mummy.

Thank you!
I so wish I could present you with such a game. *sigh* one day!
Also, it's time to sort this out - is it pronounced Balakor or Balachore?
Graz: BTW, how does it look with Metal Man Reloaded release?

Chore, surely.
It'll be one of the first big-box releases for 2015

I knew it!
Now Graz looks like some kind of goddam fool
Nuffin' new there then. :)
At least this way I can do a new Microshow with all-new pronunciations.
Or you can buy two copies of the game, one for each pronunciation ;)

More polished than 'Catacombs' and a lot more game. I've only solved one puzzle so far, but I'm still at the exploring stage.
Well done Morkin & Rorthron.
Really cool package overall, my photos don't do it justice.
Which begs the question, will Monument Games be releasing their stuff on micro SD in future when the Vega arrives?
Tremendous fun, love it.
@davey, see Rorthron's post a few above. It's being released online soon.

I has crossed our minds! Just need to source a good bulk-order price. :)
Well done! Keep going!
Yep, I'll unleash the emulator file on...
MONDAY!
