I wonder if people have tried hard to find him... I am tempted to email this guy and say "Are you he?" but fear he may get regular asks!

    It probably is him as the name, location and years match up well to what I'd expect.

    My general rule of thumb is to leave people be. If they're interested they'll eventually land on WoS as other than the Wikipedia entry it's the top most search engine result for ZX Spectrum.

    There are cases, however, of people being absolutely clueless to sites like this and that others are genuinely interested in what they've got to say. Joffa was a prime example of that.

    Great, that's my man!

    Now, with regards Mr. Escourt. I think he made it quite clear that he's not interested in being contacted or talking about the two he released. I think he was quite ill for a while. I'd tread carefully with him.

    Was not being serious about Mr E.... If someone says they do not want to chat about their past work, it has to be respected.
